With courage, determination and faith, they decide to give Dax one last Christmas – even if it has to be in October. When the community sees the holiday decorations and learns the heartbreaking truth, what happens next is a miraculous outpouring of care and support. The Heart of Christmas will touch your heart and bring home the spirit of the holidays.
This movie was heart breaking. I could never imagine what it would feel like to have a child stricken with cancer. I also appreciated the story line of Candace Cameron-Bure. She is a working mother who is so engrossed into her business that she neglects her home life with her husband and children. It takes a chance meeting of some kind neighbors decorating Dax's home with Christmas ornaments on Halloween that changes her life. She realizes there are bigger things to worry about & we need to relish every moment now that we have with our loved ones.
You can find more information on this amazing little boy you can visit the Dax Locke Foundation.
